  • How's the domain/URL categorized?

    We analyze the text from any URL and classify it into 385+ possible topic categories (our classification taxonomy is based on the IAB V2 standard).

  • Can I really cancel anytime?

    Yes, absolutely. If you want to cancel your plan, simply go to your account and cancel on the Billing page. Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are immediate.

  • What currencies and payment options are available?

    Prices are listed in USD. We accept all major debit and credit cards. Our payment system uses the latest security technology and is powered by Stripe, one of the world’s most reliable payment companies. If you have any trouble with paying by card, you can pay using PayPal.

  • What is our refund policy?

    You may request a refund for the current month if you request it within 2 hours of the transaction and only applies to the first payment we receive. We reserve the right to decline that request should you use our software within this time.

  • Is the offline database available to download?

    If you are interested in our offline database, please contact [email protected] and our support team will be happy to help you.

  • How are categories matched? By Domain only or by Full Path URL too?

    The categories are matched by using the full path URL or the email's domain (if the input is an email).

  • What is a format of the offline database?

    The format of our offline database is CSV.

  • Base Domain URL vs. Full Path URL. What’s the Difference?

    A base domain consists of only two of the URL elements: Domain Name and Top Level Domain (TLD). For example google.com, amazon.com, etc. For categorization purposes, if your plan doesn't support Full Path URLs, we will use the base domain content to assign an appropriate category value.

    In contrast, a full path URL refers to an EXACT location (i.e. page, article, file, etc.) and allows for a highly specific analysis and categorization of web content at the specified address.

    All our paid plans support full path URL classification, so any URL will be classified based on the content of the exact location.

  • Are there discounts for any products?

    We don’t have any discounts currently.

  • Do you offer personalized plans?

    Yes! But it has to be for a bigger bundle than what’s available.

  • What if I’m having issues getting my email verified?

    You can message us through our chat popup, or email us using our contact info

  • When does the billing cycle start?

    Your billing cycle starts the day you purchase one of our Plans. And ends the same day of the next month or next year (if you are paying annually). Remember that the number of API calls that you purchase is renewed on the first day of each month.

  • How can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

    You can manage all of this on your own from your dashboard!

  • How can I change my billing frequency from monthly to yearly or from yearly to monthly?

    You will be required to downgrade your account back to the Free Plan.
    Step 1: Navigate to the Subscription page, click "Downgrade" in the Free Plan section and confirm your downgrade.
    Downgrades are effective immediately, your premium subscription will not remain active until the end of the current billing period.
    Step 2: Once your billing period ends and your account downgrade has become effective, navigate back to the Subscription Page
    and click "Upgrade" in your preferred subscription plan's section. You will now be asked to choose a new billing frequency.

  • Is my payment info deleted after I downgrade?

    Yes! It’s deleted automatically. The information is handled by Stripe or Paypal, we don’t store your credit or debit card data.

  • Where can I see my invoices?

    If you’re paying with a Credit /Debit card, you can find them by going onto link/billing → billing portal-> invoices.
    If you’re using paypal you have to download the invoice from http://paypal.com/

  • Do you offer an offline database?

    If you exclusively want an offline database, we have two options:
    *You can send us a CSV file with the domains you’re interested in classifying and we will return an enriched file with the desired domains classified.
    *The other alternative to offline databases is a predefined file we can make with the top 5M most visited websites in those categories according to SimilarWeb web ranking (or any other filter related to SimilarWeb web ranking).

  • Can I categorize apps?

    With Klazify you can categorize any mobile app using its download URL in real-time. To get it, you have to search for the Google Play Store or Apple App Store URL of the app selected

  • Can I only obtain the categorization part of the API?

    No, but you can edit it manually.

  • What is your dataset's coverage? How many companies do you track currently?

    We have billions of records and if we don't have it we could get it based on your real-time request..

  • How many API calls can I make per minute?

    By default, it is 240 /minute because we want to avoid attacks or abusers, but we can expand it for you in case you need more.

  • What can I do if I get ERROR: “We couldn’t retrieve domain’s category data from the URL: . Please try again”

    Sometimes we couldn’t get data for some domains. If you could give us a list of unsuccessful domains we could double-check from our side if something is needed to improve classification algorithms.
    Please send the list to [email protected] don’t worry, we don’t charge for unsuccessful calls.

  • Is the revenue info updated daily? And what are your sources?

    Revenue info is estimated revenue and could be updated monthly if new data is available. Also, it depends on the companies you are querying, if the company is public we will update it every Q, if the company is private we try to give a range based on location and employee count changes (if some field is null, we will be null on revenue)
